Cinnamons Indian Restaurant is an established business, running since 1994. It prides itself in serving the very best of Indian Contemporary cuisine and has been awarded ‘Best Indian Restaurant’ in Somerset and Dorset at the British Curry Awards.

Restaurant co-owner Moe said “We are proud to have put Axminster on the map. We have had many successful charity night events and the number of customers who come to dine in our restaurant has doubled since we came back from the British Curry Awards. To have been selected within the top 100 restaurants, out of a total of 27,000 in the UK, we feel is an achievement in itself.”

Walk into the Cinnamons Indian Restaurant and you will be treated to excellent service and an extremely high standard of food, all in contemporary, inviting surroundings.

The exclusive menu offers a number of classic Indian dishes, including the ever-popular curries from chicken Kormas to Vindaloo and Phals. The head chef has added a whole host of creative combinations, filled with contrasting and complementary flavours, making the Cinnamons experience truly special. The chef’s signature dish of grilled vegetables finished in a pan with chopped masala and served on a bed of salad with yoghurt and pomegranate seeds makes the ideal starter, being light and bursting with flavour.

Great main courses include ‘Slay the Dragon’ – succulent pineapple and honey glazed chicken pieces cooked over charcoal – and the ‘Gosht Kata Masala,’ which is tender, melt in the mouth braised lamb in onion, ginger, garlic and ground garam masala, prepared in a thick sauce.
